1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. We treat similar local storage mechanisms as covered by this policy too.

We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and — only with your consent — measure how the site is used.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

ps_session — The session cookie created when you sign in. It is readable only by the server (HttpOnly) and lasts as long as your session. Without it, signing in to the panel is not possible.

ps_oauth_context — A short-lived cookie used during Google or GitHub sign-in to safely restore the context the flow started from (selected plan, language); it is removed once the flow completes.

ps_lang — Remembers your language preference so you do not have to pick it again on each visit.

Strictly necessary cookies are required to deliver the service you asked for and are not subject to consent; if you block them in your browser, the site may not work as expected.

3. Analytics cookies (consent-based)

If you consent, Google Analytics 4 cookies (cookies starting with _ga and _ga_) run and measure which pages are visited as aggregate statistics.

Measurement is used only to understand how the site is used; it is not used for advertising, not shared with third parties for advertising, and no personal profile is built.

If you do not consent, these cookies are never loaded and no measurement takes place.

4. Giving and withdrawing consent

On your first visit a banner asks for your cookie choice. You can accept or decline.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the key ps-consent-analytics; it is not sent to the server.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser; the banner is shown again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings. That will block strictly necessary cookies too, so signing in may stop working.

5. The desktop app

The PerSight desktop app uses no marketing or analytics cookies.

It stores your session and database connection details encrypted on your own device; that data is not a browser cookie and is not sent to the cloud.
